Hi-Hi! My name is Minni and as I write this post, I’m sitting in the quayside cafe with a cup of white mocha, looking at a cruise ship docking, seagulls flying around at a distance and a southerly breeze flowing. I am in the oil capital of Norway - Stavanger, a port city. A beautiful quaint, bright European town, with more of the old world charm and a bit of new age quirkiness.

Meander with me, as I enter an all new arena, the world of words, the world of writing, writing my way, my inexperienced articulation of what I see, hear, smell, touch and feel. I have been thinking of putting my thoughts on paper, for a very long time, but that's another story, which I will share some other time.

Since the time I landed here, the town started growing on me. I’ve been wanting to write, share my experiences. Nervous and jittery, as it can get, yet another day, yet another week passed by and soon realised I’m making zero progress and time is flying away. So today I take the plunge, finally. 

Being a HR professional, involved in the hiring of content writers across, somewhere I had this hidden desire to play with words someday. With my admiration for affluent vocabulary, the power of writing and the aspiration to become a fellow writer brings me here. 

I am frequently quizzed with “What’s your passion?”, “What gives you a kick?” and I keep looking for an appropriate answer each time I face this question. Sure, there are lots of things I’m interested in, but to call them my passion would be an overstatement. People are passionate about music, travel, cooking, fitness, their careers, I enjoy these but wouldn't lose my sleep over them. I love days full of adventure and enjoy being a couch potato as much. As years passed by, I realised while passion is something that drives you, it’s ok to not have a passion too. That's my take. As for me, I love what I do and give my 100% to it. Being good at what you do is consistency, and that's what defines you.
